Atelier Dyakova is a visual communication studio based in London. The atelier specialises in art direction and design for creative brands. We collaborate with a wide range of clients in the cultural and commercial sectors to produce brand identities, publications, websites, packaging, and spatial design, among others.

Our approach is firmly rooted in conceptual and typographic experimentation. We are passionate about materials, tactility and attention to detail. The studio’s creative work stems from in-depth research and commitment to creating beautiful, meaningful, and memorable work.

People

Sonya Dyakova founded Atelier Dyakova in 2014. Before starting her practice, Sonya was responsible for the re-design of Frieze magazine and the design & art direction of Frieze Masters publication. In 2011, she received a Grand Prix from the Tokyo Type Directors Club and was a member of AGI, the Alliance Graphique Internationale, from 2014 to 2022. Sonya worked with the iconic British designer Alan Fletcher at Phaidon Press. As a design director, she was responsible for the design of books ranging from contemporary art and design to culinary arts, architecture and photography.
