71 Contemporary is a private gallery founded by PC Valmorbida, located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, just off Central Park. Known for its museum-quality exhibitions and scholarly publications, 71C presents carefully curated surveys of modern masters and key contemporary artists, open by appointment only.
The identity was designed to reflect the gallery’s discreet, private nature — refined, and deliberately restrained. The visual language is built through typographic nuance and subtle material choices, echoing the atmosphere of a private dealer’s space.
Our work included the visual identity, signage, stationery, website, and the design of the inaugural exhibition catalogue for László Moholy-Nagy. We also developed adaptable templates for sales materials and social media, ensuring clarity and consistency across all touchpoints, while preserving the gallery’s understated tone.
