Identity
Šipulová is guided by a philosophy of regenerative fashion — going beyond sustainability to restore and heal the Earth. Their garments are hand-knitted or hand-woven from carefully selected yarns. Some pieces use re-used linen textiles, handwoven in central Slovakia in the early 20th century. These fabrics, still of exceptional quality, are combined with silk yarns from Japan, creating garments with a unique character and deep craftsmanship.
Inspired by picturesque villages surrounded by the Tatra Mountains, the identity reflects this connection to place—quiet, grounded, and tactile. A refined typographic system, a palette drawn from natural fibers and traditional dyeing techniques, and a design language that embraces the richness of handwork. A visual identity shaped by time, craftsmanship, and nature.
We designed entirely bespoke letterforms — each shape carefully drawn to echo the rhythm and beauty of handwoven textiles. The typography carries a quiet elegance, balancing precision with subtle character. Inspired by the vernacular typography of antique Slovakian books, the letterforms reflect a sense of heritage while remaining timeless and refined.
