MUUS Collection preserves and presents important works from the history of photography, with a focus on rare archival prints and historically significant image-making. The collection includes works by some of the most influential photographers of the twentieth century, including André de Dienes, Larry Fink, Rosalind Fox Solomon, Deborah Turbeville, Todd Webb, and Alfred Wertheimer —photographers who helped shape the visual language of their time.

Our approach drew from the visual culture of analogue photography and its ephemera. We referenced archival editorial materials, typography, layouts, tactile qualities of printed matter, and understated graphic details to create an identity that reflects the atmosphere of the collection itself — photography as a cultural record.

Balancing archival references with contemporary confidence, we created a dynamic visual language. The system allows the imagery within the collection to remain central, while the website, printed matter, and exhibition environments evoke a sense of history and guardianship.
